The Isle of Man Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for frost and ice overnight.

The warning is in place from 18:00 GMT on Thursday until 11:00 on Friday, when road surface temperatures are expected to fall near to, or slightly below, freezing.

Forecasters said this would create a risk of frost or icy patches on untreated surfaces.

Areas likely to be most affected are higher ground and sheltered low lying spots in central and western parts of the island.
