Two men have been jailed after 130 large nitrous oxide (Nos) cannisters, cocaine and cannabis were seized by police.

A car being driven suspiciously in Stanwell was stopped by Surrey Police officers in June. Officers approached and saw a man attempting to hide something within the vehicle.

Cocaine was discovered in the vehicle, as well as a burner phone displaying a message which appeared to be related to drug dealing.

A search of Harvey Constable-Eliba's and Louis Cummings' properties uncovered cans of Nos, also known as laughing gas, as well as weighing scales with white powder on and multiple phones and sim cards.

In Cummings' home, police also discovered a knife.

One was also found in the car, which he told officers was because he had been fishing, but no other fishing equipment was in the vehicle, police said.

Both men were sentenced at Guildford Crown Court on Tuesday.

Constable-Eliba, 21, of Whyteleafe, was sentenced to three years imprisonment for being concerned in the supply of cocaine and cannabis.

Cummings, 20, of Ashford, was sentenced to 32 months imprisonment for being concerned in the supply of cocaine and cannabis, and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

A previous suspended sentence for possession with intent to supply was enacted to be served consecutively, meaning Cummings must serve 43 months.

PC Duncan Mackenzie said: "Drug dealing has no place in our community and can cause significant damage to the lives of many.

"We are pleased with this result and that Constable and Cummings will now spend time in prison so they can't cause disruption in the local area."
