A woman accused of murdering her husband in Telford more than two years ago has appeared in court.
Amy Pugh, of Stafford Road, Wolverhampton, was charged with the murder of 29-year-old Kyle Pugh on Thursday. The pair were married but separated at the time of his death.
The father-of-three died the day after police were called to a property on Aston Drive, Newport, on 22 March 2022.
Ms Pugh, 34, appeared at Birmingham Crown Court on Friday via video link, but was not asked to enter any pleas during the hearing.
She is next due at Stafford Crown Court on 10 January.
She wiped away tears as she was remanded in custody, and asked Judge Kristina Montgomery KC: "Can I go now?"
A provisional date for trial was set for 24 March 2025, and is expected to last for two weeks.
Mr Pugh died at the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford surrounded by his family.
In a statement released through West Mercia Police after his death, they said he was "a beloved son, father of three, brother, uncle and a friend to many".
They also described him as a well-known local MC and a talented designer.
