Passenger critically injured in car crash

Multiple medical crews were sent to High Street, Knutton after a car came off the road

A woman was left in a critical condition after a car came off the road near Newcastle-under-Lyme on Wednesday night.
The crash happened on High Street, Knutton, at 22:30 BST.
Firefighters helped free the passenger before she was given advanced life support at the scene and taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital, said West Midlands Ambulance Service.
The driver and a second passenger in the car were not injured.
