Children injured after bus collides with tree branch

Police said the incident happened at about 08:15

A small number of children sustained minor injuries after a double-decker bus collided with a tree branch.

Police said the incident happened in the Kelston Road area of Bath at about 08:15 BST on Tuesday.

A number of windows were damaged as a result and the parents of the children onboard have been notified. The ambulance service was not required to attend.

Officers are carrying out enquiries into the incident to understand the circumstances of the collision, and to establish if any other vehicle was involved.

Anybody with dashcam footage or information has been asked to contact the police.
