Man seriously injured after being hit by BMW
Police say the crash happened on Cargo Fleet Lane on Wednesday evening

A 37-year-old man has been arrested for multiple driving offences after another man was hit by a car.
The crash, involving a white BMW, happened on Cargo Fleet Lane in Middlesbrough at about 18:40 GMT on Wednesday, Cleveland Police said.
Police said the pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries and a woman also suffered minor injuries in a second crash which happened immediately after.
The man arrested in connection with the incident remains in police custody.
Cleveland Police is urging anyone with information or relevant CCTV or dash cam footage to get in touch with the force.
