Cyclist remains in critical condition after crash

A cyclist injured in a road crash remains in critical condition five days after the incident near Northallerton, police have said.

The collision between the male cyclist and a Ford Transit van happened on Clack Lane outside Osmotherley at about 10:30 BST on 28 August

North Yorkshire Police said the male cyclist, who is in his 30s, was taken to hospital, but the occupants of the van were uninjured.

Officers have appealed for anyone who witnessed the crash or who has any dashcam or CCTV footage of the incident or who saw either the bike or the van prior to the crash to contact them.
