Police investigate large fire at former zoo

Firefighters have tackled a large blaze at the former Jungle Zoo in Cleethorpes.
Crews were called to the Kings Road site, which closed in 2022, shortly after 23:00 BST on Thursday.
The cause of the fire, which left a derelict building destroyed, has not yet been established.
Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said police were leading the investigation. There were no reports of any injuries.

Earlier, Lincolnshire Wildlife Rescue expressed concerned about wildlife at a lake. Officers allowed the charity to carry out checks on nesting birds using thermal imaging equipment.
No injured wildlife was found.
Humberside Police confirmed there were no reports of any injuries and asked anyone with information about the fire to contact them.
