Ismail Hussain appeared at Leeds Crown Court

A man has pleaded not guilty to raping another man in Huddersfield.

Ismail Hussain, 27, of no fixed address, is accused of attacking the victim in the town centre in the early hours of Saturday 2 August.

Mr Hussain, who appeared via video link from HMP Leeds, denied two counts of rape during the hearing at Leeds Crown Court.

He was remanded into custody ahead of his trial which is scheduled to take place on 2 February 2026.
