A person stuck on a big wheel in Worthing has been rescued by firefighters

A person stuck on a big wheel in West Sussex has been rescued by firefighters.

Crews were called to reports of a person "stuck at a height" on the Worthing Wheel at about 15:30 BST on Sunday, West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service said.

The person was brought to safety by firefighters using an aerial ladder, the service added.

Two fire engines and an aerial ladder were sent to the scene. They left at about 18:00.
