New pictures of a man police want to speak to after a fatal dog attack have been released.

Officers shared two pictures of the man on Monday, more than three weeks after a large grey mastiff or pit-bull type dog attacked and killed a smaller dog on Bristol's harbourside on 8 August.

Family pet Max was killed in the attack in Hanover Place, on Spike Island, with his owners reporting that a man with the larger dog did not stop or give any details following the incident.

An initial CCTV image was released on 21 August, but the new photos show a much clearer view of the man police want to speak to.

The man pictured was described by police as white, in his 20s or early 30s, about 5ft 8ins to 5ft 10ins tall and of skinny build.

He was wearing a grey baseball cap, black t-shirt, grey jogging bottoms and carrying a small bag at the time of the attack.
