Police officers want to speak to a man captured on CCTV

Police have launched a CCTV appeal after a 23-year-old woman was allegedly spat at and racially abused in Doncaster.

The incident reportedly took place just after 16:30 BST on 14 October in Bennetthorpe, South Yorkshire Police said.

Officers have released an image of a man they would like to speak to as part of their investigation.

The man pictured is described as being in his 30s, white, 5ft 8ins (172cm) tall and of medium build and appears to be carrying an inflatable flamingo costume.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact South Yorkshire Police.
