Man charged over murder of woman in Glasgow city centre

A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the murder of a woman in Glasgow city centre.
Sandie Butler, 40, was found seriously injured on St Mungo Avenue on Tuesday at about 12:55 and was pronounced dead a short time later.
Detectives launched a murder investigation following a post-mortem examination.
Police Scotland said a 53-year-old man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
