A 40-year-old man has appeared in court charged with a number of sexual offences relating to images of child sex abuse.
Christopher Anderson, of no fixed abode, but formerly of Lawrence Square in Lurgan, had been extradited from the Netherlands on Friday to Northern Ireland to stand trial over a number of cases relating to images of child sex abuse.
On Saturday Lisburn Magistrates' Court heard that in total the cases relate to 1,300 images.
Those representing the accused said he was keen to progress the case as soon as possible.
The first case relates to 27 offences which include possessing, making and distributing indecent images of children.
The second case involves 108 offences that include possessing, making and distributing indecent images of children and inciting the sexual assault of a child.
The offences allegedly happened in Lurgan in 2014.
The man skipped Crown Court bail in late 2020 and has been sought for arrest since, police said.
There was no application for bail and the case is due to be heard again at Craigavon Crown Court on 8 September.
