Marti Pellow to perform at Battle of Flowers

International music artist Marti Pellow has been announced as the second headliner to perform at the Battle of Flowers.
The annual event is known for its abundance of floral floats and dancers that parade along Victoria Avenue.
Sam Ryder and his band were previously announced to perform a full concert as the finale on Friday 9 August.
Jersey Opera House said Mr Pellow would headline a concert at Lower Park on the Sunday.
The new events and changes to the structure of Battle have come to allow it to "move with the times" and "stay at the heart of island life", organisers said in 2023.
The Battle of Flowers started in 1902, with stars such as Charlie Chaplin performing in the parade in 1912.
'So much heritage'
Mr Pellow said he was "thrilled" to be part of the events.
He said: "It's truly an honour to be part of such a wonderful event that carries so much heritage.
"I can't wait to immerse myself in the festivities and share some unforgettable moments with everyone there."
Mr Pellow said he wanted to "turn Jersey into one big party and make memories that will last a lifetime".
