Flights between Guernsey and Alderney have been cancelled on Monday morning and afternoon as technical issues continue, flight bosses say.
Airline Aurigny confirmed one of its Dornier aircraft had suffered a problem.
The airline said a new part had arrived on Monday morning and it was hoped the aircraft would be fixed soon.
However, it said on Facebook, external that its 12:10 BST Alderney-Guernsey and 13:10 Guernsey-Alderney flights had also been called off because of ongoing issues.
It said that boats had been chartered "to keep passengers moving inter-island" and people booked on affected flights should talk to staff for more information.
Alex Snowdon, Alderney representative in the States of Guernsey, said it "cannot go on".
He added: "If our economy starts sinking because businesses and job creation isn't being made in Alderney it's going to affect Guernsey.
"We've also got medical patients who really struggle to get on to the boat where they're having cancer treatments and other things in Guernsey."
Other flights, particularly between Alderney and Southampton, were still scheduled on Monday, but were "subject to short-notice alteration or cancellation", the airline said.
The airline added that all passengers should arrive at airports on time, as "check-in will close on time and as normal 45 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time".
Any further changes would be announced by staff at airports, it said.
The issue means there has been no air service between Alderney and Guernsey since Saturday afternoon.
