Crossroad closed after four-vehicle crash

Drivers have been told to expect delays in the area

A rural crossroad has been closed by police after a crash involving four vehicles.

Wiltshire Police said one person had to be released from his vehicle by emergency services after the crash at Braydon Road on Wednesday morning.

The force added the driver was taken to Great Western Hospital as a precaution and there were no reports of serious injuries.

The crash was reported to the police at 08:45 BST and drivers have been told to expect delays in the area.

Officers have also asked drivers to avoid the Braydon Road B4696 to the West of Swindon, running between Royal Wootton Bassett and Ashton Keynes.
