Cyclist critical after van collision

The incident happened on Calvert Road in Hull on Saturday evening

A cyclist is in a critical condition in hospital after he collided with a van in Hull.

The incident happened at around 18:10 BST on Saturday when the cyclist collided with a silver Volkswagen Caddy on Calvert Road, off Spring Bank West.

Humberside Police said the cyclist suffered potentially life-threatening injuries in the crash.

The force asked anyone with information or footage of the incident to get in touch.
