The Red Arrows display team dazzled crowds in Aberdeenshire at the weekend.

The famous RAF aerobatic team appeared during the Scottish Traditional Boat Festival in Portsoy.

Their high-speed and close-proximity manoeuvres - and red, white and blue trails - were captured on camera by members of the public.

This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Red Arrows.

David Urquhart, chairman of the Scottish Traditional Boat Festival, said they were "delighted" about the appearance.

He described it as a "huge honour" for Portsoy.
