Thousands of people are expected at a free event in Dorset to celebrate south Asian culture.
The Dorset Mela, now in its seventh year, takes place in Poole Park on Saturday.
The mela, or fair, features live music, dancing, DJs and a fashion show.
There will also be stalls offering henna painting, clothing, jewellery, arts, crafts and food.
Manoj Pillai, who organises the event, along with Louis Sajeekutty and Biban Venunath, said: "It's all about showcasing the culture and immersing with other cultures - everybody is welcome."
Traditional dances, such as Bharatanatyam, Kathak and Bhangra will be performed alongside more contemporary acts that blend south Asian melodies with western beats.
Mr Pillai said most of the food on offer was homemade.
"We are trying to represent all the states of Indian food," he said.
"At the moment we've got 33 stalls of different kinds of food."
About 5,000 visitors are expected throughout the day at the event, which starts at 10:00 BST and continues into the early evening.
Mr Pillai said: "When we started this, I thought it would be only the Indian community but it's like everybody wants to come and join.
"It's a day out to meet new people and make new friends."
