Road closures warning as fun run returns

A number of road closures will be in place as a community fun run takes place.
The Wythall and Hollywood Fun Run is returning on Sunday for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic, said Worcestershire County Council.
Drivers were warned of closures between 9:00 BST and midday, but the council added it aimed to keep disruption to a minimum.
The rolling road closures will affect Silver Street, Batemans Lane, Packhorse Lane, Middle Lane, Wythall Green Way and Wilmore Lane.
The community event, which helps support Primrose Hospice, includes a 5km, 10km and Families on Track (5km) relay race.
"Disruption will be kept to a minimum and a rolling road closure and reopening schedule will be in place on the day," the council said.
The run will begin at 10:00 BST at Wythall Park.
Wythall Community Association, one of the organisers, said it was holding a fun day in the park, with food stalls and entertainment, alongside the event.
