Free hepatitis test offered to islanders

Islanders are being offered a free hepatitis test at Jersey General Hospital.
Jersey's Blood Borne Viruses (BBV) service has urged residents to get tested as part of World Hepatitis Day on Sunday.
Officials said the BBV team will be offering free tests on Monday between 09:00 BST and 12:30.
It said viral hepatitis can affect anyone and cause serious health conditions, including inflammation of the liver.
"This can lead to other problems, which in some cases can be fatal," it said.
Officials said viral hepatitis can be prevented or controlled if diagnosed early.
