A campaign to raise awareness of child sexual exploitation (CSE) has begun in Shropshire.

Telford and Wrekin Council said it was working with survivors and the health service on its "Seen something? Say something." campaign.

A campaign of this type was one of the recommendations made in a report following an independent inquiry into CSE in Telford.

An accompanying website offers advice on the signs which might suggest a child is at risk, along with guidance on how to report concerns.

Lee Carter, the councillor responsible for tackling CSE, said: "All of our work is being guided by people with lived experience of child sexual exploitation and we want to thank them for their continued and vital contribution."

The three women consulted, Holly Archer, Scarlett Jones and Joanne Phillips, said it was an "important campaign raising awareness of child sexual exploitation".
