Couple set to be first to wed on Alderney's train

The first wedding on a train in Alderney is due to take place in May.
Katie Gatt and Paul Baldwin, both from the UK, plan to tie the knot on the Alderney Railway while they travel the line with about 20 of their family and friends.
Marriage laws in the island changed in 2021, as they were seen to be out of date. Now couples can marry almost anywhere.
The decision to go for the unusual venue was inspired by Ms Gatt's family holidays to Alderney as a child.
She said: "We didn't want anything too traditional over here [in the UK] and we thought we'll go to Alderney for our honeymoon.
"But we thought 'hang on a minute why don't we go to Alderney and get married?'.
"It's a bit of fun and something different, and we both love the train, so we just thought why not?"
The service is due to start at Braye Station and finish at Mannez Quarry.
This is the full route of the line along which a diesel engine pulls two former tube trains.
Ms Gatts said: "The reception is at Braye Beach Hotel so everyone will meet there and then I'll walk over.
"We will all get on the train, enjoy the ride up to the quarry, get married at the quarry.
"And then we'll go back again and have a big party!"
