Five men and a woman who ran an organised crime group supplying almost £30,000 of class A and B drugs in North Hull have been jailed for a total of 20 years.

Gang leader Ryan Longley, Nathan Heath, Cody Heath, Anthony Partington, Bernard Wileman and Chantelle Kershaw appeared separately at Hull Crown Court.

They had admitted their involvement in the drugs network which supplied and distributed cocaine, heroin and cannabis after it was first discovered in a raid in 2022.

Humberside Police said it hoped the case would "serve as a warning to others looking to deal drugs."

Ryan Longley, 28, of Feldane, Hull was jailed for six years.

Nathan Heath, 29, of no fixed abode was jailed for four years and 10 months.

Cody Heath, 26, of Pulman Street, Hull, was jailed for four years and one month.

Anthony Partington, 29, of Greenwood Avenue, Hull, was jailed for two years and three months.

Bernard Wileman, 60, of Garrowby Walk, Hull, was jailed for two years and six months.

Chantelle Kershaw, 31, of Greenwood Avenue, Hull, was jailed for two years and three months.

Properties searched

Humberside Police launched an investigation into the organised crime group after a raid at a property in Hull on 6 December 2022 where Longley was arrested. Cannabis and approximately £1,500 in cash was also seized.

The force said a mobile phone that was recovered revealed Class A drugs, mainly heroin and crack cocaine, were being supplied in the North Hull area.

Officers said messages showed Longley had a "managerial role" and was co-ordinating four different supply routes. As a result of the messages, Cody Heath was identified and arrested.

Detectives continued their investigations throughout 2023 and carried out further searches in the Orchard Park area of the city.

A search of a property on Greenwood Avenue, Hull, on 21 February last year revealed what was believed to be £13,700 worth of drugs, around £6000 in cash and a number of burner phones.

PC Claire Dobson of Humberside Police said: "By stopping this gang’s activities, we have prevented significant amounts of drugs from being sold on the streets of Hull.

"At the heart of drugs operations are exploited members of our community that need help to break the chain and be set free from exploitation."
