Network Rail Scotland has warned of challenges repairing damage to a sea wall that has disrupted train services between Inverness and Wick.

Stormy weather and high tides over the weekend washed away large sections of the wall along the railway line between Brora and Helmsdale.

Network Rail Scotland said equipment and materials had been delivered to the site, and warned train services were likely to be disrupted until early next week.
