A search is under way to find a missing man in Jersey.
States of Jersey Police said Adam Daniel McGrath, 58, was heard leaving his home in Rue Du Maupertuis, St Clement, at 05:30 BST on Monday.
The force said it was "unusual" for Mr McGrath to leave his home at that time.
A search involving the coastguard, fire service, lifeboats and search and rescue crews is concentrating around the north-west of the island.
Police said Mr McGrath's car, a white Ford Fiesta Zetec, was found in the car park at Grosnez Castle, St Ouen, on Tuesday.
'Keep the area clear'
Mr McGrath is described as having white hair, being approximately 1.75m (5ft 9in) tall and of broad build.
He is thought to be wearing a black or navy short-sleeved top, dark grey or black wide legged tracksuit bottoms - either Lonsdale or Adidas make - and black Skechers trainers.
Police said: "The main focus of the search efforts so far have concentrated around the north-west part of the island, with other areas also being identified.
"We understand that the public may be keen to assist in the search, but we would ask that they keep the area clear to allow the search and rescue efforts to continue unhindered."
The force said search and rescue teams are searching the headland where the car was found.
Police said: "We would ask residents close to Grosnez to remain vigilant for sightings of Adam and to check their gardens and outbuildings.
"Nearby residents are also asked to check any footage from video doorbells or dashcams."
