Walkers asked for help to find missing man
- Published
A 61-year-old man has been missing in Lincolnshire for more than two weeks despite extensive searches, police have said.
Officers have now urged walkers in the countryside around Spilsby, where Trevor was last seen on Saturday 29 June, to keep an eye out for him.
"We would particularly like to appeal to anyone who walks through rural areas in Spilsby to keep vigilant to potential signs of someone sleeping out or living off the land," a Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said.
Trevor is described as white with short grey hair and is about 5ft 10ins (178cm) tall and of medium build. He was last seen wearing a dark jacket and beige trousers.
Insp Matt Bennison, who is leading the search, said the force had searched an extensive area around Spilsby using drones, helicopters, the Lincolnshire Lowland Search and Rescue team and Louth search and rescue dogs.
Trevor bought a propane gas bottle before he went missing, and police believe he could be camping in the area.
