A second driver has died following a two-car crash, police said.

Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a grey BMW 530 and a white Kia Cee’d in Tholomose Drove, near Wisbech St Mary, on Friday at about 16:00 BST.

Cambridgeshire Police have now said that the driver of the Kia, Andree Johnson, 62, of Church Road, Wisbech St Mary, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but died on Monday.

Earlier this week, police confirmed BMW driver, Shane Jones, 28, of Station Avenue, Murrow, was declared dead at the scene and a passenger of the car was taken to hospital with serious injuries but has since been discharged.

The force appealed for witnesses to the collision, or anyone who saw the vehicles leading up to it, to get in contact.
