Man charged with murder over cyclist death

A man has been charged with murder after the death of a cyclist in Reading.

Vignesh Raman, 38, was found fatally injured in Addington Road on Wednesday 14 February after his bike was involved in a crash with a vehicle.

Shazeb Khalid, 24, of no fixed abode, has been charged with murder. He is due to appear at Reading Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

Seven men arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender have been released on bail.
