A third man has been charged with the murder of a teenager in Leeds earlier this year.

Emmanuel Nyabako, 19, was found fatally stabbed in Francis Street, Chapeltown, on 26 August.

Emile Riggon, 22, of no fixed address, appeared at Leeds Magistrates' Court on Wednesday charged with his murder.

Mr Riggon will next appear at Leeds Crown Court on Friday.

Two other men were previously charged with the same offence.

Phillip Bryant, 32, of Skinner Lane, Leeds, and Jozeffi Jeffers, 27, of Hyde Park Road, Leeds, had been remanded in custody, according to West Yorkshire Police.

A 15-year-old boy arrested earlier as part of the investigation remained on bail, officers added.

Detectives from West Yorkshire Police's Homicide and Major Inquiry Team have repeated their appeal for information to help find another man they have named as a suspect in connection with the death of Mr Nyabako.

Inquiries into the whereabouts of Louis Grant, 29, who was also known as Louis O’Brien, had focused on the Sheffield area, police said.

Det Ch Insp Damian Roebuck said: “We would like to hear from anyone who has seen Louis Grant or who has any information that could assist us in tracing and arresting him.

“We are advising the public not to approach them, but to contact the police immediately.”
