Fire fighters and police were called to a house in Newton Abbot after an electric car crashed into a shed and caught fire.
Officers got the call just after 15:30 BST on Sunday and arrived at the property on Cowslip Crescent to find a Blue Skoda Enyaq had broken a low brick wall and crashed into a garden shed.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said, external it used one appliance to extinguish the fire, and that it had to use cutting equipment to access the bonnet and switch off the car's high voltage systems.
Officers said the occupants were out of the car before emergency services arrived, and that no-one was injured.
