Fire crews say they are investigating a large fire at a scrap yard in the early hours of Monday morning.
East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service said it was called to a waste site in North Quay in Newhaven shortly after midnight on 12 May.
Five appliances were initially called to the scene of the large fire but the blaze has since been brought under control and the incident has been scaled back, the service said.
The site will be re-inspected this morning, a fire service spokesperson said.
