Police called to cows on the loose in garden

Police were called to reports of cows on the loose in a Cornish village on Tuesday.

Devon and Cornwall Police said one officer attended the incident which involved four cows in the Broad Lane area of Illogan at about 06:36 GMT.

Resident Jazz Butler, who shared a photo on social media, said the cows were "chilling" in her friend's front garden.

Police added the owner of the animals was identified and they had "resolved the situation".
