Suspected arson after house destroyed by blaze

A vacant property and outbuildings in Marden were burnt down in the blaze

Police have launched an investigation after a house in Marden was destroyed in a suspected arson attack.
The vacant property in Battle Lane was reportedly set alight, along with outbuildings, during the early hours of Wednesday.
A total of 11 fire engines attended the scene at about 00:40 BST and it took several hours to extinguish the blaze, Kent Fire & Rescue Service (KFRS) said.
"The cause is believed to be deliberate," a spokesperson added.
No one was injured in the incident.
Police are urging anyone who may have any information about the fire to contact the foce.
