Traffic management

Organisers said the one-way traffic system and soft road closures were in place to reduce the impact during the peak times for festival goer arrivals and departures.

It added a one-way traffic system and soft road closures were in place to reduce the impact during the peak times for festival-goer arrivals and departures.
Residents and those travelling to businesses or properties within the one-way system areas would still be permitted access as usual, it said.
Those without a specific destination or simply wishing to traverse the area must follow the signed one-way system.
Organisers said residents or those visiting a local business should inform the traffic marshal and they would be directed through.
Environmental sustainability
Organisers said sustainability and an awareness of the impact on the local environment was part of its ethos.
It said it was building on the existing work and introducing new initiatives with the aim of striving to make Boardmasters one of the most environmentally-conscious and low-impact festivals.
It said this year it was asking attendees to sign a pledge to make Boardmasters 2025 the most sustainable one.
It added the Leave Only Footprints pledge involved campers to pack up campsites, take tents home and leave no trace.
It added it was also looking for volunteers to be part of the Leave Only Footprints crew.
