A man has been charged with criminal damage with intent to endanger life after a dumper truck hit a house.

West Mercia Police said Dean Walker, of no fixed address, was also charged with criminal damage, theft, and dangerous driving.

The 53-year-old is in custody and is due to appear at Telford Magistrates' Court on Friday.

No-one was hurt when the vehicle hit the house on Mullinder Drive in Telford on Sunday lunchtime, but the police said the building had been "substantially damaged".
