Detectives investigating the murder of a woman whose body was found in woodland have asked the public for information about the day after she died.

West Midlands Police said it believed Reanne Coulson, 34, died on 21 May before being taken to Binley Woods, just outside Coventry, the following day.

Her disappearance led to a major investigation and her body was found on 27 June.

A 42-year-old man has been charged with her murder and a 38-year-old man has been charged with assisting an offender.

Det Insp Nigel Box said he was interested in hearing from anyone who may have information, or dash cam, mobile phone or video footage relating to the area from 22 May, especially at about 07:30 BST.

He said: "We want to hear from anyone who visits Binley Woods, particularly near Gossett Lane, at the end of the Twelve O'clock Ride, whether you are a dog walker, cyclist or runner."

He also said police believed a fire was started at some point in the day and asked for anyone who saw that.

He added: "Our thoughts remain with Reanne's family and we continue to update and support them throughout our investigation."
