Part of A14 reopens following serious crash

Emergency services were at the scene of a serious crash on the A14, National Highways said

Part of the A14 in Suffolk closed off after a serious crash between a lorry and a van has reopened.
National Highways said the eastbound section of the road between junction 47A for Elmswell and junction 49 at Tot Hill, by Stowmarket, was shut at about 04:30 BST.
Suffolk Police, the fire service, land ambulance and air ambulance crews were called to the scene.
Diversions were put in place from Bury St Edmunds at junction 43, with traffic going on to the A143 and A140, external before rejoining the A14 at Tot Hill.
