Motorcyclist suffers life-threatening injuries

A motorcyclist has suffered life-threatening injuries after a single-vehicle crash in Devon.
Emergency services were called to the A30 near to Exeter Airport, where there had been a report of a collision involving the rider of a Royal Enfield motorcycle, which had left the carriageway.
The male rider of the motorcycle was located and taken to hospital via air ambulance, where he remains.
The eastbound carriageway was closed whilst an investigation was carried out by Serious Collision Investigation Team.
The force added that it would like to thank the public for their patience whilst the road was closed.
