Man arrested after cocaine worth €14.2m seized

Gardaí (Irish police) have arrested a man following the seizure of cocaine worth €14.2m (£12.3m) in the Republic of Ireland on Saturday.

Approximately 202.5kg of suspected cocaine was seized by revenue officers following the search of a lorry which had disembarked from a ferry at Rosslare Europort in County Wexford.

A man aged in his 30s is currently detained at a garda station in County Wexford.

Investigations are ongoing.
