Overnight closures at M1 junction for resurfacing

Motorists have been advised to allow extra time for their journey

A junction of the M1 near East Midlands Airport is set to be shut overnight for planned resurfacing work.
Work is due to start at the roundabout of the motorway and the A453, at junction 24 in Leicestershire, from Monday until Thursday 2 October.
The M1 northbound exit slip road, the A453 slip road to the airport, and the roundabout to the A50 will be shut between 21:00 and 05:00 BST.
National Highways said diversions will be in place and advised motorists to allow extra time for their journeys.
