Police have launched an appeal after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash on the A511 in Leicestershire.
Officers were called to a stretch of the road at Sinope, near the junction with Alton Hill at 22:15 GMT on Monday, Leicestershire Police said.
A grey Hyundai i10 and an orange KTM 125 Duke motorcycle collided, causing the car to leave the carriageway, the force said.
The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 20s, died at the scene, while the driver of the car, a woman in her 40s, was taken to hospital and treated for non life-threatening injuries.
Police confirmed no arrests had been made and inquiries are ongoing.
The force appealed for anyone travelling on the A511 between Coalville and Ashby on Monday who might have information to come forward.
