Two teenage boys have appeared in court accused of rape following an alleged attack on a woman in Hull.

The boys, aged 14, and 16, were charged in connection with an incident in Princes Avenue on 3 July.

At Hull Crown Court both defendants pleaded not guilty to charges of rape, false imprisonment, actual bodily harm and suffocation.

The 16-year-old also denied charges of sexual assault and harassment.

The pair, who cannot be named due to their ages, were remanded in custody.

A trial date has been set for 15 December at Hull Crown Court.
