Two people accused of possessing zombie knives have been charged under a new law banning the weapons.

Ethan Bell, 26, and a 17-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons were also charged with possession with intent to supply Class A crack cocaine and heroin.

The pair were arrested on Thursday after officers executed a warrant at a property on Ennerdale Close in Wardon, Worcester.

Both are due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates on Saturday and are being held in custody.

The law on possessing offensive weapons was extended to include the knives on 24 September.

The law also covers the manufacture, import, sale and supply of the weapons.
