A man has died from his injuries a month after he was involved in a car crash.

Harry Murphy, 72, was a passenger in a silver Toyota Yaris when there was a collision with a silver Ford Focus in Bidston Link Road, Wirral at about 11:30 GMT on 29 October.

He was taken to hospital but died from his injuries on Wednesday, Merseyside Police said.

In a tribute, his sister said Mr Murphy, from Seacombe, was "a loving son and brother and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him".

Police are appealing for anyone with information and footage to contact them.
