Sark voters go to ballot in contested by-election

The poll is seeing six candidates vying for four seats

Voters have gone to the polls to select four people to serve as conseillers from a shortlist of six in a by-election on Sark.
The ballots were being cast in the Toplis Room at the Island Hall.
The nominations closed on 5 September and followed the resignation of four conseillers. The winning candidates will serve on Chief Pleas for four years.
The candidates are: Alan Blythe, Patrick Dewe, Samuel Keyte, Nicolas Moloney, Joseph Perrée and Karl Rang. A result is expected at approximately 19:30 BST.
