Man accused of murdering wife to face retrial

A man accused of murdering his wife is to face a retrial.
Mohamed Samak, 42, has denied stabbing Joanne Samak, 49, to death at their home in Chestnut Spinney, Droitwich Spa, on 1 July last year.
A jury at Worcester Crown Court was discharged on Monday after failing to reach a verdict following a four-week trial.
The Crown Prosecution Service said it had informed the court, the defence and Mrs Samak's family it would be seeking a retrial.
A mention hearing is due to take place at Worcester Crown Court on 17 March.
