A road near Derby has reopened after a man was found injured early in the morning.

Officers were called to the B5010, near to the junction with Broad Lane, in Thulston, near to Elvaston Castle, at 05:00 BST on Tuesday.

Derbyshire Police said the man, who was found in the road, was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of affray and remain in custody, the force added.

Police have appealed for anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch.
