An amateur rugby player has plans to embark on a one-man rugby tour to raise money for a men's mental health support group.
Jake Doyle, 32, from Northampton, will play for a different rugby club every weekend for one match until 12 April to raise money for Man Cave UK, external.
Mr Doyle, who works as a personal adviser for young people leaving the care service, will undertake the challenge without any preparation or prior knowledge of the teams which he will join.
He added: "I'm trying to play for as many clubs in the county as possible. It's just about turning up and having a bit of fun."
'Positive memories'
Mr Doyle has been involved in rugby since the age of 13 and said he balances playing the sport alongside coaching.
So far through the fundraiser he has joined eight sides including Daventry RFC, Northampton's Mens Own RFC and Towcestrians RFC.
Mr Doyle described the process as "I turn up, meet the team, talk about what [he is] doing, into the warm up and then straight into the game".
Mr Doyle said participating in the fundraising tour has given him "positive memories and friendships all over the county".
